Motion that earns its blur

Long exposure is not a filter. It is a decision about what speed should feel like on a still page.

Blur is cheap when it is decorative. It is expensive — and memorable — when it records a real path through space. Date stamps, restrained type, and a single color streak can carry an entire launch story.

For Pace+, Ferrari, and race-adjacent brands, motion blur is the proof. It tells the viewer the subject was moving before the shutter closed.

We brief photographers for intent: which axis of motion, how much of the figure stays readable, and where typography can sit without fighting the smear.

If you can swap the image for a stock gradient and keep the same layout, the blur was never doing a job.
