Instead of creating a random symbol, we built DANA's identity from Dana herself: her name, her personality and her story. The result is a mark that belongs to one person and can be explained in a sentence.
The name Dana is connected to a precious pearl, which inspired the pearl and shell shapes. It is also associated with wisdom and knowledge, represented by the owl. Together the forms create an abstract letter D.
Her birth date, 11 August 1997, added another layer. As a Leo, the sun became a symbol of confidence, creativity, warmth and presence.
The system includes the main icon, logo construction, a colour palette of iridescent pearl, charcoal, taupe and ivory, a repeating pattern, and horizontal and vertical logo versions.
